It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Viola Borgerding of Freeport, Minnesota, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Klaphake and Rose Klaphake (Thieschafer); her husband Leo Borgerding; her grandsons, Casey and Clay Borgerding; her siblings, Gilbert Klaphake, Arlene Van Beck, Geraldine Wensmann and Oswald Klaphake; and her siblings-in-law, Sally Klaphake, Ruben Van Beck and DeWayne Schiffler.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Borgerding (Linda) of Avon, Marian Brunette (Douglas) of Hudson, Yvonne Cullen (John) of Minnetrista, Neal Borgerding (Lea) of Freeport and Ann Sieben (Christopher) of St. Joseph; her siblings, Jerome Klaphake (Joyce) of Freeport, Juletta "Julie" Moening (James) of Apple Valley and John Klaphake (Mary Jane) of St. Rosa; and her brother-in-law Urban Wensmann of Albany. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart School in Freeport.
