It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Jay Ashlin (Fridley, Minnesota), born in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ashlin and Marian Ashlin (Sullivan); his wife Jean; and his brother David Ashlin. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Olson (Brandon) of Andover, Andrea Ashlin (Chuck Wagner) of Fridley and Diana Wilman (Bob) of Blaine; his brother Dennis Ashlin (Andi) of Rush City; his grandchildren, Jared (Ashley), Hunter, Alex and Ava; and his great grandchild McKinley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory (6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432). A prayer was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
