With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eunice Charlotte Banta (Fridley, Minnesota), who passed away on September 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Hutton (Larson) and William Hutton; her husband Charles Banta (Chuck); her daughter Diane White; and her siblings, Leola Saros, Virgil Hutton, LaVerda Payson, Arlene Panek, Erling Hutton, Imogene Heimer, DelRoy Hutton, Charles Hutton and Vernon Hutton.
She is survived by: her daughter Louise Gustafson (Gordy); her grandchildren, Keith Gustafson (Jennifer), Brandon Smith (Bobbi), Chad Gustafson, Jessica Knutson (Jason) and Victoria White (Luke Hanish); her great grandchild Rhian Smith; her grandchildren, Jack Smith, Cosette Gustafson, Sydney Knutson, Lincoln Hanish and Henrik Knutson; and her siblings, Jim Hutton (Jacquie) and Nancy Cox (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory (6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
