He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hitzeman and Alvina Hitzeman (Koecher); his granddaughter Nicole; and his sister Shar Knutson. He is survived by: his wife Aneita; his children, Steve Hitzeman (Lisa), Linda Krohn (Brian) and Cady Hendrickson (Tim); his sister Barb Hitzeman; his grandchildren, Hannah, Kelly, Chase, Alex, Ethan, Jack and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Preston, Amiya, Evelyn, Beau, Karter, Kayson and Elias.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (2848 County Rd I, Mounds View, MN 55112). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Messiah Lutheran Church, 2848 County Road H2, Mounds View, MN 55112 in Mounds View.
