He was predeceased by: his wife Irma Hastings; his parents, Knox Hastings and Elizabeth Hastings; and his brothers, Duane, Darreld and Ronald Hastings.
He is survived by: his children, David Hastings (Rochelle), Deb Diederich (Paul) and Terri Wold (Kevin); his sisters, Susan Fredricksen and Lynda Hastings-Leonard; and his grandchildren, Carter Wold (Sammi), Mason Wold, Sydney Hastings, Lilli Wold, Ezra Diederich, Zoe Diederich and Aaron Hastings.
