She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Ottinger and Esther Ottinger; her husband Bob Smitten (Bob); and her sisters, Onalee Sharp and Barbara Huwe.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Stroming (Randy), Kari Peters (Chris), Bill Smitten (Kristina), Andy Smitten (Roxy), Natalie, Libby, Dan, Caroline, Sally, Lauren, Max, Elizabeth and Addie. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; plus nieces and nephews.
