With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chuck Lursen (Fulda, Minnesota), born in Worthington, Minnesota, who passed away on May 20, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oltman Lursen and Esther Lursen (Beek); and his brother Clarence Lursen. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Lursen of Fulda, MN; his children, Dawn Chesney (Chris) of Owatonna, MN and Dan Boomgarden (Kelly) of Owatonna, MN; his grandchildren, Bradley Chesney (Trista), Nate Chesney (Amber), Nick Chesney, Destry Boomgarden (Amanda), Brendan Boomgarden and Kiley Boomgarden (Bennett Silkey); and his sister-in-law Vi Lursen of Worthington, MN. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (401 N Lafayette Ave, Fulda, MN 56131). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
