He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Rakow and Shirley Rakow (Tomberlin); his wife Alisa Rakow; and his brother Bill Rakow. He is survived by: his children, Rishona Hendricks (Cory) and Jason Rakow; his grandchildren, Ashley Alguire (Blake), Courtne Laudanskas (Brad), Rylan Rakow and Cody Rakow; his great grandchildren, Elvie, Mackade, Adalea, Ryder and Lennox; and his sister Robin Kaikkonen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
