He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kroll and Bernardine Kroll (Merkling); his siblings, Jeffery Kroll, Patricia Kroll and Margaret Beckman; and his brother-in-law Theodore Beckman.
He is survived by: his wife Kyong Im Kroll of Garrison, MN; his daughter Anna Zupko (Cole) of Little Falls, MN; his grandchildren, Leela Kroll Zupko and Hawk Zupko of Little Falls, MN; his sister BilleJo Hawley (William) of Friendship, MD; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Raab Kroll of Rice, MN.
