He was predeceased by: his mother Corrine Griewe (Hanson); his sister-in-law Connie Bennefeld; and his nephew Nicholas Werpy. He is survived by: his father Herbert Griewe; his wife Denise Griewe (Hagy); his children, Wendy Thymian (Jesse) of Moorhead, MN, Nathan Griewe (Rita) of Gary, MN, Jessica McCaslin (Chad) of Moorhead, MN and Ashley Griewe of Gary, MN; his grandchildren, Bryce, Ava, Carter, Hunter, Logan, Parker and Peyton; his sister Bonnie Werpy (Gene); his aunts, Gladys Klucas and Ruth Ann Adkins; and his uncle Floyd Hanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
