He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pomplun and Alma Pomplun (Quast); his son Michael Pomplun; and his siblings, Lucille (Pomplun), Elmer Soeffker, Marvin, Evelyn Pomplun, Elsie (Pomplun) and Aloys Gerholz.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Paulson of Eagle Lake, MN and Cindy Dreier of Prior Lake, MN; his stepson Ron Dietz (Kathy) of Gaylord, MN; his grandchildren, Christopher Eilrich (Laurie), Nicholas Eilrich, Justin Pomplun and Robin Pomplun; his great grandchildren, Chase Eilrich, Kalyssa Barnes (Colin), Courtney Eilrich, Claire Bauleke, Adrian Pomplun, Andrew Pomplun, Gavin Pomplun and Jackson Pomplun; and his great great grandchild Weston Barnes. He is also survived by Step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
