She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kiley and Hilda Kiley (Johnson); her husband Chris Peterson; her children, Pam Sorlie, Vicky Peterson and Chad Peterson; her daughter-in-law Kellie Peterson; and her siblings, Robert Kiley (Margaret), Kenneth Kiley (Shirley), Mary Jane Callahan (Tom), Paul Kiley (Mary Lou), Kathryn Parks (Ted) and Lois Rinn (Pat).
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Peterson (Ann) and Rodney Peterson; her sister Sally Trausch (late Bernie); and her grandchildren, Amy Cheney (Jeff), Jill Otterbein (Trevor), Cory Peterson (Heather) and Keighley Sorlie. She is also survived by great-great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bonnerup Funeral Home (2210 E Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Elaine's honor to the Geneva Cancer Perschbacher Community Fund, 78368 325th Street, Ellendale, MN, 56026.
