We announce the death of Allen J. Wambach of Georgetown, Minnesota, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Wambach and Teresa Wambach (Kolosky); his wife LeDonna; and his siblings, Bobby Wambach, Rita Kopp and Gene Wambach.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Wambach (Casey Leitch), Tony Wambach (Dolly), Lonnie Wambach (Kim) and Vicki Wambach (Roger Hanson); his grandchildren, Nick Wambach, Maizie Card (Tyler), Makayla Wambach (Anthony Laymon), Nathan Wambach (Haley) and Emily Wambach; his great grandchildren, Auden and Emery Card; and his brother Ronnie Wambach.
A wake will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 7:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (127 Main St, Georgetown, MN 56546). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to HIA Hospice.
