It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara J. Bruns of Gibbon, Minnesota, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Sr. Lauwagie and Carol Lauwagie (Grosklags). She is survived by: her husband Tim Bruns; her children, Toby Bruns (Jenny), Octave "Beth" Magnusson (Brian) and Dana Lietzau (Mitchell); her father-in-law Harlan Bruns; her siblings, Pat Schreiner (Tom), Elizabeth "Betty" Grewe (Brian), Howard (Char), Tom (Ellen), Timothy (Pam) and Robert (Kari); her siblings-in-law, Wanda Fahey (Duke), Tammie Kaste (John) and Terry Bruns (Lori); and her grandchildren, Richard "Ryan", Kelby, Kinley, Ryker and Axton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Gibbon Reds or Alzheimer's Association in her memory, in honor of her fight against Alzheimer's. Barb will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
