He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ohland and Lydia Ohland (Kramer); his wife Melda Ohland (Brei) of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; his sister Joan Pinske (Ohland); and his brothers-in-law, Loren Pinske and Marcus Buch.
He is survived by: his sisters, Arlys Buch and Karon Jahn (Darrell). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1380 1st Ave, Gibbon, MN 55335). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Gibbon, Prairie Lutheran Schools or Martin Luther College.
