He was predeceased by : his former life partner Margaret "Marge" Berg; his son Jeremy; his brother Roy Berg; his siblings-in-law, Louise Berg and Corney Hauser; and his parents, Milo Berg and Evelyn Berg (Hable).

He is survived by : his son Josh Berg of Hector; his grandson Isiah of New Ulm; his siblings, Kathy Hauser of Mankato and Al Berg (Lisa) of Nevada; his wife Margaret Liebl; and also, Jackie Markgraf, Hope, Marvin, Carl and Raymond. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
