It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Erickson of Gilbert, Minnesota, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Erickson and Myrtle Erickson (Swanson); his siblings, Richard and Shirley Fumia; his sister-in-law Doris Erickson; and his nephew Brian Erickson.
He is survived by: his brother Ray Erickson (Linda); his brother-in-law Carmen "Sonny" Fumia; and his nieces and nephews, Tracy McMorrow (John), Jean Toninato (Mike Sandor), Wanda Cimermancic (Jeff), Michael Fumia (Laurie), Jim Fumia (Jenee Centeno), Mark Fumia (Rhonda), Ray Erickson (Sheryl), Harold Seay (Scott Burke), Nels Erickson (Joan Zurn) and Carl Erickson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home - Gilbert (108 Broadway, Gilbert, MN 55741). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
