She was predeceased by : her parents, John Kern and Mary Kern (Maki); her siblings, Bob, John Kern and Grace Brotherton; and her daughter-in-law Barb Preiner Frances.
She is survived by : her husband Jim Preiner; her sons, Jim (Connie) of Eveleth and Kim of Gilbert; her grandchildren, Nick Preiner (Megan), Megan Preiner, Michelle Litke (Jamie), Carrie Banks (Jered) and David Preiner (Amanda); and her niece Penny Burke. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
