He was predeceased by: his father David Liimatta. He is survived by: his mother Rosalyn Liimatta (Nosen); his brother Jon; his nephew Mikko; and his aunts, Donna Starc (Jerry), Shelley Anttila (Dan) and Shirley Nosen.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home - Gilbert (108 Broadway, Gilbert, MN 55741). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Cemetery. A reception will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dugout Bar.
