He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brula and Agnes Brula (Strukel); his sister Margie Johnson (Ray); and his sibling's children, Rae Ann Anderson, Joseph Videnich and Frank "Sonny" Videnich Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Heitzman (Mark) of Gilbert and Richard Brula (Shari Erchul) of Gilbert; his grandchildren, Monty Heitzman (Alethea), Jacob Heitzman (Carissa Brakke), Grace Klander and Jason Brula; his great grandchild Henry; his sister Angeline "Nellie" Hurley; and his sibling's children, Kathy Thomas (David), Cathy Johnson, Robert Johnson (Jill) and Jessica Meier (Jye).
A reception will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home - Gilbert (108 Broadway, Gilbert, MN 55741).
