She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Henry and Ellen Homola (Peterson); her former life partner Floyd Gulbranson; her husband Wesley Ranta; her siblings, William, Fremont, Harold, Marvin and Edith; and her daughter-in-law Christine Gulbranson.

She is survived by : her sons, Lonnie Gulbranson (Joann Branagan) of Sparta, Thomas Gulbranson (April) of Duluth and Kurt Gulbranson (Tracey) of Gilbert; her daughter-in-law Cindy Ranta; her grandchildren, Shawn (Missy), Carlo (Sofie), Travis (Sara), Nolan, Angie (Travis), Lori, Ryan (Theresa), Jesse and Daniel; and her stepgrandchildren, Kirsten, Nicole (Chris), Travis (Hilary), Kyle and Jake. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, friends, and sisters and brothers.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
