He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob "Jack" Hepner and Anna "Ann" Hepner (Kosek); his parents-in-law, Roger and Delores Sayles; his sister Joanne Dostal; and his sister-in-law Darlene Lambert.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hepner; his daughters, Heather Luepke and Nicole Alsaker (Robert); his grandchildren, Austin Thompson (Julia), Beckett Alsaker and Jacoby Alsaker; his great grandchildren, Oliver Thompson, Elijah Thompson and Luke Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Sayles (Roxann), John Sayles (Fran), Roger Jr. Sayles (Dawn), Julie Aguleria, Darla Hareza (Mike) and Daniel Dostal. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
