With sadness, we share the passing of James Carlson of Glencoe, Minnesota. James passed away on June 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Timothy and Irene Marie Carlson (Tester); his siblings, Glen Carlson, Richard Carlson, Elwood Carlson "Andy" and Mary Ann Lindner; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Johnson (Merlyn "Fats"), Barbara Lamb, Roger Casper, Doug Franklin and Ron Lowery.

He is survived by: his wife Melba Carlson; his children, Don Carlson (Barb), Karen Sweeney, Emilie Olson (Jon), Carlee Oberlin and Adam Carlson (Tami); his grandchildren, Nik Iliff (Bethany), Justin Iliff and Krystal Weber (Tyler); his siblings, George Carlson and Irene Carlson; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Carlson, Paula Franklin, Sharon Lowery, Sarah Casper, Margie Harper, Christi Michell (Joel), Don Lamb, Doug Lamb and David Lamb (Brenda). He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to any charity of the donor's choosing.
