He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Simons and Juliana Simons (Schrempp); his son Russell; his parents-in-law, Leon and Doris Hucky; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Paal, Steve Hucky, Donald Schuler and JoAnne Shirley; and his nephew Chad Schuler.
He is survived by : his wife Barb Simons of Glencoe; his children, Becky Vos (Scott) of Green Isle, Bob Simons (Ashley) of Belle Plaine and Aaron Simons (Stacia) of Glencoe; his grandchildren, Will, Max, Jack Vos, Blake, Garrett, Caleb, Bennett Simons, Maryiah, Hank and Rhett Simons; his siblings, Carol Paal of Coon Rapids, Donna (Harlan Lemke), Bonnie (Denis Laumann), Lois (Jim Hendricks), Larry (Helen Simons), Jan (Al Heuer) and John (Kay Simons); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Schuler of Waconia, Lynn Wachholz (Mike Tordoff) of Waconia, Dave Hucky (Pam) of Waconia and Ed Shirley of St. Bonifacius. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
