She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Kelm and Sophie Kelm (Luehrs); her husband Albert Karg; her daughter Eleanor Litzau; her grandson-in-law Alexandre Asche; her siblings, Helen Luehrs (Arnold), Ferdinand Kelm (Della), Edwin Kelm (Helen), Eileen Rannow (Maynard) and Wilmer Karg; her niece Delores Luehrs; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Karg (Verna), John Karg (Margorie), Meta Rolf (Herb), Victor Karg (Marianne), Lydia Thompson (Jess), Selma Bielke (Willard), Esther Witthus (Allie), Alice Schwalbe (Stanley) and Elmer Karg.
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Mathews (Donald) of Willmar, MN; her son-in-law Larry Litzau of Glencoe, MN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Koenen (Chad) of Hutchinson, MN, Brian Litzau (Laurie) of Glencoe, MN, Rebecca Asche of Chaska, MN, Jon Mathews (Sarah) of Ames, IA, Michael Mathews (Erica) of Willmar, MN and Andrew Mathews (Darcy) of Lake Crystal, MN; her great grandchildren, Owen Koenen, Ava Koenen, Paige Litzau, Nathan Litzau, Miranda Litzau, Elisabeth Mathews, Sonja Mathews, Ingrid Mathews, McKenna Mathews, Brooklyn Mathews, Aria Mathews, Asher Mathews, Brayden Mathews, Trevan Mathews, Kenley Mathews and Kysen Mathews; and her sister-in-law Alice "Mopsy" Karg of Hutchinson, MN. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews, neighbors, other relatives and friends.
She was a talented seamstress and sewed baby clothes for preemies to donate to the hospital nursery.
