He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmont D. Soeffker and Lura Soeffker (Dibb); and his stepfather Jack Beckwith. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Lindberg.
Steve was a survivor of COVID after spending 6 weeks in intensive care at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Although he survived COVID, Steve did experience multiple health issues as a result.
