He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hoover and Margaret Hoover (Lienig); his wife Janet Cole; his daughter Paula Ann; and his sister Marjorie.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Hoover (Valery), Kari Combs (Dennis) and Grant Hoover (Micki). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
