He is survived by: his wife Peggy Duffield; his children, Nathan Metz (Jennifer) of Starbuck, Gabriel Metz of Glenwood and Jocelyn Smith (Adrian) of Villard; his grandchildren, Sydney, Rylee, Tyson Metz of Starbuck, Ross Metz, Chase and Harper Smith of Villard; his siblings, Jerry Metz (Jean) of Browns Valley, MN, Jeff Metz of Jamestown, ND, Joan Lien (Greg) of Milbank, SD and Janna Binder (Fred) of Yankton, SD; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Nelson and Myron Allrich of West Fargo, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
