He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin "Frank" Fairfield and Myrtle Magdalene Fairfield (Stenson); his stepfather Frank Steen; his son David Fairfield; and his siblings, Julie Lokken and Randy Steen.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Richey (John) of Maricopa, Arizona; his stepson Shawn Dyke; and his sister Becky Elwood (David) of Glenwood. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
