He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gardner and Alma Gardner (Johnson); his stepmother Pat; his wife LaVonne Hegg; and his siblings, Michael, Gary, Patrick and Linda.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lisa of Florida and Laura of Florida; and his nephews, David and Jason.
