He was predeceased by: his parents, August West and Bertha West (Menge); and his siblings, Frank West, Boyd West, Doris Blakeway, Alice VanTassel, Florence West, Lyle West, Ross West, Rusty West and Thomas West.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Suzanne Utoh (Pederson) and Steven Pederson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
