She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Elizabeth; and her parents, Elmer C. Hartwig and Lucille E. Hartwig. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Helmin; her sons, Thomas John and Daniel Thomas Castaneda (Joline); her grandchildren, Blake Thomas, Brittney Marie, Luke Daniel and Jack Patrick Castaneda; her stepchildren, Stacy Marie Burton (Matthew) and Erica Lynn Ortiz; and her grandsons, Dyllan, Mason Ortiz and Jaxson Helmin. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
