He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Mary; his wife Terri; and his siblings, Michael and Nancy Edson.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Petersen (Megan), Sarah Hanson (Jay Hilden) and Tyler Petersen; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Owen and Harrison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, Don's children kindly request donations be made to North Memorial Hospice in his honor, to allow others to experience the peace and end of life care that Don received.
