He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Alf Merseth and June Merseth (Hultberg). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his wife Karen Merseth (Spangler); his daughter Jill Merten (Ben); his grandchildren, Jacob, Eliana, Emily and Olivia; and his brother Rev. Nile Merseth (Lynn). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
