He was predeceased by : his parents, Martha Brix and Richard Brix. He is survived by : his brother Tom; and his uncle Robert Brix of Clara City. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Bartholomew (630 Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society are preferred.
