He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his parents, Carl A. and Elodis; and his brothers, Richard (Wayne) and James.
He is survived by: his children, Jack (Christine), Mark, Peter and Jeanne Varland (Greg); his grandchildren, Ivan (Nicole), Seth (Molly), Aaron, Jason, Justin, Jacob and Cassandra; and his great grandchildren, Finley, Claire and Anika. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
