He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Robin Tieva; and his siblings, Edwina Mularkey (Ray), Clarice Into (Don) and Kenny Fern. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Michael Fern, Mark Fern (Sue), Brad Fern and Barbara Tieva; his grandsons, Daniel Fern (Amanda) and Michael Tieva; and his sister-in-law Carol Fern. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
