He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Bjerke and Hulda Bjerke (Torgerson); his daughters, Cheryl Elenore and Diane Julie Bjerke; his grandchildren, Jesse Bjerke, Chad Bergman, Thomas Bjerke and Brent Bjerke; and his siblings, Alvina, Adeline, Darlene and Rudy.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Bjerke (Sundquist); his children, Gregory Bjerke (Lori), Scott Bjerke, Bradley Bjerke and Kari Bjerke Klema (Martin Ubert); his siblings, Kenneth Bjerke (Lois), Julie Connell (Pat) and Laverne Bjerke (Judy); and his sister-in-law Lois Bjerke. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
