She is survived by: her family, Dave and Ken; her grandchildren, Skip-Bo, Farkle and Uno; her husband Lyle Scharpen; her children, Heidi Watne (Troy) of Belmond, IA, Merlin Amundson Jr. of Zumbrota, MN, Heather Flashinski (Mark) of Cadott, WI and Martin Amundson (Kelly) of Zumbrota, MN; her stepsons, Dave Scharpen (Patti) of Wabasha, MN and Ken Scharpen; her grandchildren, Paige McElderry (Conner), Kyle Watne (Bailey), Adam Watne of Belmond, IA, Nicholas Flashinski, Helayna Flashinski of Cadott, WI, Violet Amundson, Winnie Amundson, Clayton Amundson of Zumbrota, MN, Alex Scharpen (Brooke) of Zumbrota, MN and Zach Scharpen (Morgan) of Rochester, MN.; her great grandchild Maisie McElderry of Belmond, IA.; and her in-laws, Mary Amundson, Kathy Distad (Dennis), Myron Scharpen, Willis Scharpen (Nancy) and Colleen Storandt (Tom).
