He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Flipp and Jean Flipp; his siblings, Raymond and Jeanne; and his daughter-in-law Dana Flipp.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann VanHouten; his sons, Roger, Jr. and John (Deb) of Pine Island; his grandchildren, Haley (Josh Monjeau), Hanna (Robert Rehm), Mikayla (David Hong) and Hunter; his great grandchild Carmella Rehm; and his siblings, Robert (Charlotte), Pat Denny (Bob), Rita Hieb and Susie Frankfurth (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
