We announce the death of Carol Berglund of Grand Marais, Minnesota, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 94. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Rude and Agnes Rude (Blomberg); her husband Alton Berglund; and her siblings, Thelma Peterson, Alice Brisson, Shirley Ellquist, Jerry Rude (Nancy) and Bradley Rude (Sandy).
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Krause (Kevin), Brian and Kevin Berglund (Sharon); her grandchildren, Collin, Bjorn (Jennifer), Brock and Brittany (John); and her siblings-in-law, Hazel McClanahan and Clifford Berglund (Julie). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
