He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Tobias Patten and Kathryn Sylvia Patten (Dewar). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Elizabeth Barr; his children, Christin Jacobson (Peter), Andrea Bermel (Tim), Jacob Patten (Andrea) and Benjamin Patten (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Tate, Cayle, Nolan, Isaiah, Annelise, Micah, Nathan, Jace, Madelaine, Isaac, Olivia and Andrea; and his siblings, John Patten (Ahne) and Lynn Vigesaa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great­ nieces and nephews.
