He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Simonson and Violet Simonson (Waller). He is survived by: his son Cory Simonson (Cindy); his grandsons, Carter, Caden and Colin; and his sisters, Lanna Gehling (Ron), Jeanie King (Denny), Rhonda Ptacek (Mike) and Julie Stier (Marty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless dear friends.
Per Donnie's request, in lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to his grandsons.
