With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Newton of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on November 3, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carole Newton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Jacobson and Gladys Jacobson; her husband David; her stepson Kent Newton; her sisters, Donna Ranger (Duane) and Marilyn Kolp (Al); and her pets, Taz, Chelsea and Mazie.

She is survived by: her sons, Bradley Beier (Amy) and Jeffrey Beier (Sandra); her stepchildren, Vicki Reineck (Richard) and Mike Newton (Holly); her boyfriend Dick Holter; and her grandchildren, Adam, Brandon, Becky, Erich, Natalie, Michelle, Christofer, Crystal, Brittany and Caleb. She is also survived by many Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (2901 US-169, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carole's name to Essentia Health Itasca Hospice 115 10th Avenue NE Deer River, MN 56636.
