It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Jones of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on October 31, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Jones to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jones and Zelma Jones; his wife Rosalie Severson; his son Glen Jones; and his brothers, Frank and Paul Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Pierson (John) of St. Paul, MN, Lorena Hiesler of Superior, WI and Paul Jones (Pat) of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren, Sophia Sandberg (Tyler), Simon Jones, Brittany Winkler (Steven) and Timothy Coyle; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Rosalie Winkler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rowe Funeral Home (510 NW 1st Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (Co Rd 440, Coleraine, MN 55722).
