He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry and Iva May Hare; his wife Alma Schuldt; his son Donovan Jr.; and his siblings, Harold, Lavaughn, Junior, Alda, Larry and Mervyn.
He is survived by: his daughter Eldora "Dodie" Solheim (Jerry); his grandchildren, Jon Solheim and Bri Stacklie (Pete); and his great grandchildren, Shaden Solheim, Kanton Stacklie and Kyra Stacklie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
