Helen left this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the sacred silence of farewell, Helen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanna Berg (Ness) and Kasper Berg; her former husband Alfred R. Nelson; and her husband Richard Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Gilder, Alfred Nelson (Ruby), Raymond Nelson (Kerry), Gary Nelson (Jolie) and Julie Nelson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blackberry Community Center (25349 Dove Ln, Grand Rapids, MN 55744).
