The passing of Kristen Johnson MD of Grand Rapids, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 5, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Kristen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kristen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney II and Verna Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Bill (Bill) of Grand Rapids; her siblings, Rodney III Nelson (Jackie) of Geneva, IL, Jeff Nelson (Lee) of Darby, MT and Abbe Burke of Lake Forest, IL; and her children, Janna (Sinthang Has) of Minneapolis, MN and Mark (Hannah Watkins) of Etna, NH. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Community Presbyterian Church (703 Pokegama Ave, Grand Rapids, MN 55744).
