She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Shafer and Marcie Davis; and her brother Jim Shafer. She is survived by: her husband Nate of Grand Rapids; her children, Ashley Christiansen (Levi) and Derek Salisbury (Jess); and her siblings, Dave Shafer (Bonnie), Bill Shafer, Joe Shafer (Donna) and Beth Mandich. She is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and so many special friends.
