She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Bolme and Mabel Bolme; her husband James M. Carter; her grandson Benjamin Carter; and her cousin Mavis Ruud.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jeff Carter (Amy) and Cynthia Bender (Craig); her grandchildren, Kayla Lorentz (Jake) and Jackson Carter (Andrea); her great grandchild Beckett Lorentz; her brother Duane Bolme; her niece Nikki Wassen (Kevin); her nephew Erik Bolme (Amanda); and her extended family, Carlton Ruud, Rebecca Russell (Ed) and Lisa Luttinen (Mark).
Memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Essentia Health Hospice.
